Pricing

Wedding cakes and dessert bars are priced based on each couple’s specific flavor and design requests. Due to volume of requests and the time and attention that we give each wedding client, we cannot provide estimates without a consultation (free by appointment), and we do not give “quick quotes” via email or phone. General pricing is as follows:

Cakes start at $4 per serving for a single-tiered cake with basic white frosting. Additional fees apply for specialty flavors, fillings, and decoration. A fee of $30 per tier applies to tiered (stacked) cakes. Our clients spend anywhere from $300-$1000 on their cakes; this represents a wide range of needs in terms of size and complexity of design, so your cake may fall outside of these numbers!

Dessert bars are charged per piece. Starting prices for our most popular dessert bar items are as follows:

Drop Cookies $4

Decorated Sugar Cookies $5

Cupcakes $3

Mini Donuts $10/dozen

Mini Lemon Curd Tarts $5

Mini Fresh Fruit Tarts $6

4” Pies $6

Mini Mini Cheesecakes $3.50

Additional fees apply for extra fillings, toppings, or decoration.

Delivery, setup, and platter rental is $100 within 30 minutes of our shop in West Toledo. Wedding locations outside of this radius will be charged an extra $50 per half hour of drive time.

Our Process

  • A consultation is required for all weddings regardless of size. This consultation is free of cost and may take place over the phone or in person at our shop in West Toledo. Tastings are strongly recommended. They included samples of desserts you’re considering for your wedding, and are served with coffee for up to 4 people in our dessert parlor. A $50 fee is required to book a tasting. This fee is deducted from your final bill if you spend $500 or more with us for your wedding.

  • After a tasting and consultation, we send an estimate for our services, as well as design sketches (if applicable) to the couple for approval. The couple may make any changes necessary until they’re fully satisfied with their package.

  • Once the couple is happy with the contents of the proposal, they deposit $200 and sign a contract that outlines the details of the wedding, including designs and specifications for setup and delivery

  • 2-4 weeks before the wedding, the couple gives us their final guest headcount. At this time their invoice is adjusted to reflect these numbers. Any last-minute changes to desserts or design are made at this time. Final payment is collected 2 weeks before the wedding at the latest.

  • We’re happy to work with your wedding planner to coordinate setup and delivery. If you choose not to have us set up and deliver your desserts, we’ll pack them up safely and give instructions for transport. Couples wishing to do their own delivery and setup assume all responsibility for the condition of our desserts on their wedding day.

  • Blueberry lemon cake with cream cheese buttercream, vanilla cake with honey cinnamon meringue buttercream, chocolate cake with mocha meringue buttercream

For inspiration, this couple showed us vintage Audubon Society prints that depicted their favorite flowers, and our initial sketches included edible images to give the true vintage style they were looking for. Along the way, the couple wanted to add birds to the design, so we we went back to the drawing board to present them with a few new ideas. We settled on this painted buttercream look that incorporated flowers and sweet little birds.

  • Vanilla cake, raspberry curd filling, peanut butter American buttercream

This sweet couple bought a vintage Miss Piggy and Kermit topper, and after a few months of deliberating decided on this vintage lambeth-style design in all white. This was one of those times that the vision really clicked into place on the day of the wedding. We delivered the cake and placed the topper a couple hours before the guests started trickling in. We love how well the aesthetic of the cake matched the elegant backdrop of the Toledo Club.

  • Lemon cake with raspberry curd filling; mixed berry mini pies, bourbon pecan mini pies, Dutch apple mini pies

This sweet couple came to us a year before their wedding with a vision—they knew that they wanted mini pies for their guests, and a small cake for them to cut. We helped them curate a menu of mini pies that we knew their guests would love, and we worked together on this warm, natural design with fresh flowers for the cake. The whole spread worked perfectly with the rustic design of their outdoor venue.

  • Confetti cake, chocolate cake with milk chocolate ganache frosting; confetti cupcakes, chocolate cakesicles, caramel stuffed chocolate chip cookies, double chocolate cookies. birthday blondie cookies, sugar cookies, fruit tarts, lemon curd tarts, mini donuts, mini mini cheesecakes

This bride came to us with a vision of a garden party for her wedding. A 3-tiered cake with pressed flowers, a groom’s cake with a black tulip, dried floral accents throughout the dessert bar, and our vintage platters executed the theme perfectly. We were able to curate a selection of desserts in the right quantity for their number of guests. Because this wedding was over an hour away, we packed up the whole spread and helped the mother of the bride load it all up the day before the wedding. Pictures of the desserts on the platters we lent them helped guide setup on the day of the wedding.
